Hey blogosphere, you feel the cringe coming from reading the word blogosphere? That’s the tone I, Ben Rodrigue, was hated for throughout high school. That’s why I like video games, the protagonists were almost never cringey. In fact, I like video games so much I’m going to make this mandatory blog about them.
Why do this?
I’m glad you asked block of text that won’t currently go away! I love video games, I always have ever since I watched my older brother play Pokemon: Silver on a Gameboy Color. My parents noticed my devotee like fixation on the small box that had pets fighting each other for profit and wanted to do something similar for me. Since taking a kid to a dog fight would be morally wrong and illegal, they gave me my own small box to fight my own pets despite the fact that I couldn’t read. Button mashing didn’t fail me then and it doesn’t fail me now. It was the birth of my crippling addiction/hobby that I dump all my money into to this day.
While I’m here and keeping up this blog for the next twelve weeks or so, I hope to review video games and point out how their logic makes no sense next to the real world. That’s never been done before. This way when my parents berate me for playing video games I can claim it’s for homework and they can’t do anything about it.
The audience I’m trying to reach is very specific, I’m going for the really niche crowd of “people who can give me an A.” It’s a small group but I have no doubt they’ll eventually find it. Failing that, video game fans who like reading blogs about video game reviews is a good second.
Of course, I’m not the only one who reviews video games. Some companies have built their whole brand around reviewing. Like Metacritic, click the link to learn more.

Yo my dudes, if you liked that, check out my YouTube channel. I’ll take literally any watchers from anywhere I can find them at this point. I have no shame.
